Your role:

As part of Engineering & Technology team , you will drive activities linked to assessing the current state of the company packaging portfolio and identifying gaps versus the upcoming European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). The scope of products will cover the entire company portfolio that is marketed within the EU. Your mission will start by developing a good understanding of the proposed legislation. After which, you will refer to the Bill of Material information to clarify areas that are in conformance versus those needing further investigation. You will lead the detailed investigation either with manufacturing sites or with procurement colleagues or supplier relationship managers. To ensure the information you gather is available to the broader organization, you will help to design a process to update the product master data on packaging with the new information you have gathered. You will have available to you a large variety of IT tools to help in your analysis. The final part of your mission will be to propose specific workstreams or projects that should be started in order to ensure the company portfolio is compliant.

 

Your profil:

  • University or college education in progress
  • An interest in Sustainability
  • Capable of structuring large volumes of data
  • Thorough with a natural talent for details
  • Fluent in English
  • Fluency in French and German are very useful and other European languages (Italian, Spanish) will be useful.
  • Strong analytical ability. Ideally also good notions of how to use software for data analysis (data lake, Foundry Power BI) or the ability to learn.
  • Proficient in Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
