Your Role:

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join our growing team in Gillingham, Dorset. As a key member of our warehouse department, reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will play an instrumental role in the logistics and operations of our facility. Your key responsibilities include:

 
  • Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming goods.
  • Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and correct labeling.
  • Conducting inventory records and stock checks using the Warehouse Management System (e.g., SAP).
  • Following all site-specific safety protocols, including the handling and storage of hazardous materials.
 

Who You Are:

 
  • A strong communicator, capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • A current forklift license is preferred but not essential.
  • Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with computerized stock control systems is an advantage but not essential.
  • A good work ethic, demonstrating punctuality and reliability.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
