The Role:
In this role you will work under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor and in conjunction with the Engineering team. You will be responsible for the maintenance of the site through planned and preventative maintenance, fault-finding at breakdowns, repairs and execution of work generated through the Asset Management System. You will comply with all relevant company policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure business-critical plant, equipment, instruments, and systems comply with current GxP standards, ensuring all documentation is completed in adherence with GxP regulations and company procedures.
Who you are:
- Experience in a GMP regulated environment, or suitable transferable experience.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems would be advantageous.
- Experience of electrical circuits including fault finding.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems i.e. Air Handling Units, Boilers, Compressors, valves etc.
- Experience of BMS systems.
- Experience with Laboratory equipment would be an advantage.
- Self-motivated/team player
- Familiar with creation of calibration and maintenance standards and practices.
- Formal engineering qualification in either Electrical, Mechanical, or similar.
- The successful candidate will be expected to work with both internal and external personnel; therefore, experience in working with a variety of different groups in a formal capacity would be desirable.
- Due to the nature of the business, you may be required to travel to other sites all within the central belt of Scotland so a full current driving licence is essential.
