Your Role:

As a Digital Lab Solutions Expert, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing digital solutions for laboratory operations, electronic documentation, and data management. In particular, you will drive optimization of laboratory processes and data management through the implementation, maintenance, and support of our LIMS system. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, design solutions, and optimize lab workflows and provide technical expertise to ensure the smooth operation of our laboratory information system. You are the central contact person for the laboratories and internal and external interfaces (e.g. Quality Assurance, IT Business Partners, and vendors). Your expertise in digital technologies and scientific workflows will contribute to driving operational efficiencies and facilitating data-driven decision-making. Your responsibilities will be to implement and configure LIMS systems to meet laboratory requirements and industry standards, collaborate with scientists, analysts, and IT professionals to gather system requirements and design efficient workflows and provide user support, troubleshooting, and training on LIMS functionality to laboratory personnel. You will also perform system enhancements, upgrades, and maintenance activities to ensure optimal system performance and data integrity and develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality and ensure adherence to quality and regulatory guidelines. You will collaborate with vendors, internal stakeholders, and global teams to ensure successful deployment and integration of LIMS systems and stay updated on emerging LIMS technologies and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

 

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in in Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar discipline. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in LIMS administration, configuration, and support as well as establishing new digital processes in the laboratory area, such as electronic laboratory journals in the GMP area.
  • Strong knowledge of LIMS platforms such as Labvantage or similar systems.
  • Understanding of laboratory workflows and processes in a scientific environment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, GxP, ISO) related to laboratory data management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional international teams.
  • You have very good written and spoken English skills.
  • You possess excellent organizational skills, are a reliable team player and at ease in working in a cross-functional landscape.
  • You are highly motivated, results-orientated, and willing to take on responsibility.
