Your role:

As a Manufacturing Lab Technician, you will be responsible for the synthesis and purification of custom synthetic RNA using ABI and Ark synthesis platforms, along with techniques such as HPLC, PAGE, RP and desalting. You will be fully trained to prepare, operate and maintain HPLC and PAGE instrumentation, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Your duties will also include performing quality control checks, following production schedules and work instructions for synthesis and purification, and monitoring and replenishing reagents as needed. Additionally, you will handle QC sample preparation and quantification, accurately recording run data on QMS paperwork and updating databases and electronic forms with relevant information.

 

Who you are:

  • BSc or above in a relevant Scientific subject is preferred, ideally Chemistry.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or lab-based role is an advantage but training will be provided.
  • Demonstrated experience following processes.
  • Computer literate, experience with LIMS, QMS or EMS is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality.
  • Good communication & organisation skills.
