Responsible for achieving sales goals. Develops and executes account plans. Identifies customer needs and develops solutions. Grows company share within the account. Identifies opportunities to partner and collaborate. Resolves customer issues. Maintains a pipeline of short and long-term growth opportunities. Collaborates and coordinates with appropriate stakeholders. Manage and drive customer/distributor relationships within the assigned territory. He/She will implement a course of action to optimize future revenue and margin growth.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Essential Job Functions
 

  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding revenue and gross margin targets established for the region.
  • Develop account plans and coordinate activities with appropriate internal stakeholders.
  • Analyze accounts and territory and identifies opportunities to accelerate revenue growth.
  • Engage with customers/ distributors to build and maintain long term relationships through digital/F2F connect.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process for assigned products & accounts.
  • Resolve customer issues by regular interaction with internal stake holders.
  • Coordinate sales activities with Specialist teams and distribution partners (Digital /F2F)
  • Maintain an in depth understanding of the competitive landscape within assigned accounts and territory.
  • Maintain & learn new technical product and scientific knowledge.
  • Maintain a cadence of account management activities including internal and customer facing business reviews.
  • Input customer information and opportunities into the CRM system & take insights.
  • Maps regional and country relevant account sites, buyers and contacts.
  • Develop and maintain a short and long-term opportunity growth opportunity pipeline.
  • Leveraging digital tools to prospect, opportunity creation & improve sales conversion.
  • Reports to management, including market & competition.

 

Patients Safety/Pharmacovigilance (PV):

  • To recognize a reportable Adverse Event (AE) or safety information and ensuring the necessary information is forwarded according to the company procedures. 

 

Quality Assurance:

  • On handling customer complaint, the employee must obtain and compile the information regarding a received complaint and to transfer the information to the local complaint manager. 

EHSQ:

  • Comply with the company Environment, Health, Safety and Security policies and procedures relevant to your position.

 

Compliance:

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations issued by the relevant government regulatory agencies;
  • Abide by the company Code of Conduct and all other policies relevant to your position, including but not limited to the Anti-Corruption and the Anti-Trust Policies.

 

MAIN INTERFACES

 

INTERNALLY: 

SEA SLS Regional Team

Marketing- Product promotional programs, special pricing, etc.

Customer Excellence- Order processing, order follow up, credit and collection, etc.

Supply Chain, Warehouse and Distribution- Stock availability and delivery

 

 

EXTERNALLY:

Customers in Team Territory Program

Purchasing Managers, Laboratory heads and product end-users; and Company Heads

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

EDUCATION/LANGUAGES

Bachelors / Master’s degree in Life Science/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology

PGDM/MBA preferred above Min Qualification

 

Minimum Requirements
 

  • Minimum 4-7 years of work experiences in the life sciences industry
  • Understanding of classic sales management tools like Salesforce.com and processes preferred
  • Knowledgeable about competitor analysis, product-positioning strategy, pricing strategies, and other tactical skills.
  • Understanding and proven ability to apply leading Sales Excellence processes including Solution Selling, Key Account Agreements, Channel Sales and pricing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong evidence of the ability to implement and execute plans.
  • Excellent facilitator with a strong internal and external customer focus together with a high level of tolerance and ability to build effective relationships where integrity, trust and respect is gained.
  • Action oriented with a high-level drive for results and perseverance; acting in professional and positive manner at all times. Highly creative with the ability to generate and implement new and valuable ideas.
  • Apt to making quick decisions in a timely manner under tight deadlines and pressure.
  • Thinks strategically, capable of anticipating future consequences and trends accurately while making critical decisions for the benefit of the overall business.
  • Ability to work in a complex, multi-cultural selling environment with the capability of managing diversity.
