Report to: Managing Director
Your Roles:
• The BUM is responsible and accountable for the short-term and medium-term development of the business in Vietnam and the full achievement of the business objectives agreed with senior management.
• To be responsible for continual expansion opportunities (territories, customers, and products) in the local market.
What You Should Do:
• To build credible, professional relationships with KOL and cultivate a wide range of clinical, medical, pharmacy and product advocates within all influential functions of target customers’ businesses. To take part in negotiations with major national key accounts, and develop and secure personal contact with major clients.
• To manage the creation, development, approval, and distribution/implementation of communication materials and programs to ensure that these materials are aligned with strategy and positioning, as well as produced in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
• To serve as a key source of local BU knowledge of the therapeutic area, the products, and the competition. Work with in-house and outsourced partners to research market needs and opportunities. Monitor competitive trends in assigned areas and suggest appropriate action to better position products in development.
• To lead the promotion and differentiation of leadership in products, devices, and support services to key executives and decision-makers.
• To create, implement, monitor progress, and update Account Business for assigned accounts.
• To plan the promotional budget, manage the key account expense (analyze and justify budget requests and measure account proposal on negotiated terms and profitability), and lead the execution and development of contract business case toward maximizing the ROI.
• To identify by anticipation strategic and administrative needs, involve the appropriate decision-makers, and implement proper formulary management guidelines, procedures, and policies within the BU activities.
• To provide leadership (direction, market feedback, recommendations, support, development) to field force & marketing staff and management as appropriate.
• To seek & develop my knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry & actively contribute to the development of the BU strategy.
• To recognize a reportable adverse event or safety information and have the necessary information forwarded to the Local Drug Safety Contact in Vietnam in a timely manner.
Who You Are:
• Graduated in Pharmacist or Doctor. Good communication in English (TOEIC 800) and Vietnamese. Have thorough knowledge of the Pharmaceutical market.
• At least 6 years experience in the Pharmaceutical market and 3 years successful in a similar role in an international company. Have good experience in field force management & territory management.
• Required skills and competencies: Be result-oriented & customer focus, well organized, analytical thinking, honest, teamwork, and deal with conflict constructively. Excellent intercultural communication and interpersonal skills. Have a good management mind. Good in marketing planning and execution: have the ability to initiative, plan, manage, make things happen & lead change.
