Report to: Procurement Manager, SEA

 

Your Role:

  • Lead procurement activities in the country, ensuring effective stakeholder and supplier management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide solutions.
  • Foster and maintain positive business relationship with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Develop and Implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals and create competitive advantages.
  • Monitor and analyze procurement performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to transforming the procurement function into a best-in-class organization.
  • Manage supply agreements and contracts throughout their lifecycle, proactively minimizing contractual risks.
  • Evaluates supplier performance.
  • Provide country-specific market intelligence to enhance competitive positioning and mitigate supply risks.
  • Align with global category and sourcing strategies to drive operational excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or Business Administration, Supply Chain Management.
  • Bring 5+ years of professional procurement experience within an international or global organization.
  • Possess a strong background in both sourcing and purchasing (technical buying) activities.
  • Demonstrate experience in the implementation of procurement e-solutions, market insights, and category expertise.
  • Exhibit a solid understanding of procurement processes and systems.
  • Showcase exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with proven abilities in collaboration, influencing, and communication.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, facilitating effective cross-functional teamwork.
  • Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to articulate ideas convincingly, negotiate contracts and solutions to complex problems.
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation and analytical skills, with a high energy level and a proactive approach.
  • Ability to quantify financial benefits for identified opportunities and initiatives.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize a wide variety of activities. Project management skills.
  • Fluency in English are essential.
