Your role:
We are currently seeking a passionate and driven Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) for Neurology to join our team. You will be reporting to the Sales Manager and work as a primary point of contact for HCP's, leading and coordinate promotional activities and events, in close alignment with your medical colleague. You will be executing account strategy, coordinating internal resources, and ensuring impactful customer engagement. The ideal candidate will maintain the distinction between promotional and non-promotional activities, adhere to Medical Independence, and follow the Medical Information process. The TAS will serve as the primary interface for on-label activities, promote licensed portfolio/products, and collaborate closely with the Medical counterpart. Additionally, they will be responsible for systematic account planning, cross-functional execution of account plans, and remote/virtual engagement. This role requires close cooperation with internal stakeholders such as Sales Managers, Product Managers, and Medical Advisors, as well as external engagement with HCPs, hospitals, and payers.
Who you are:
- Ideally educated to a BA degree in a relevant field.
- Have 3-5 years of sales experience selling pharmaceuticals or medical devices.
- Proficient in Dutch and English, French is an advantage.
- Have the permission to work as a pharmaceutical sales representative
- Scientific/therapeutic area and indication knowledge (on-label) and experience knowing when to hand over off-label, pipeline, and all other medical-only activities to medical affairs.
- Proactive and hands on mindset.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel within Belgium.
