The Technical & Scientific Solution (TSS) group is part of the Life Science Business and provides high quality scientific and technical support to customers developing or manufacturing biopharmaceuticals. This Technical Engineer role will be part of Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) function under TSS organization mainly covering South Korea. This role will be based out of S.Korea, Songdo, M LabTM collaboration center with the focus of supporting customer process development projects. This is a rewarding role for a young scientist with an interest in applied, commercial pharma process development and manufacturing.

This will be a contractual position with the initial contract period for 1 year

Your Role:

• Conduct experimental projects in planned our MSAT according to MSAT’s standard operation protocol.
• Ensure successful handling the experiment and analysis tools for implementation of our technologies in early phase testing.
• Report any unexpected observation during test process to manager and support troubleshooting process.
• Document data with integrity and accurately according to MSAT’s application note and datasheet

• 머크 MSAT 이 계획하는 실험프로젝트를 MSAT의 SOP에 따라 진행합니다.
• 연구 초기 단계 실험에 머크 기술을 수행하기 위해 실험 기자재 및 분석 장비를 원활하게 운용합니다.
• 업무 도중 예상치 못한 과정이나 결과가 도출될 경우 MSAT manager에게 보고하며, 이를 보완하기 위해 업무를 수행합니다.
• MSAT application note 와 datasheet 를 이용하여 완전성과 정확성이 필요한 데이터 서류를 작성합니다.

Who you are:

• Fresh graduate Bachelor related to engineering (eg. Bioscience, Biotechnology, Bio-Engineering) or with 1 year experience in biopharma industry
• Technical communication skills (verbal and written) in Korean
• Confidence MS office program, especially Word, Excel, Powerpoint and understanding SOP written by English
• Ability to independently and high agility in adopting new knowledge.

• 관련 유사 학과(생물공학, 생물공정공학, 생명과학 등)의 학사 졸업생 또는 2년 이내 바이오 관련 산업체 경력 소지자를 선호
• 생물기술 운용과 관련된 커뮤니케이션에 원활한 분을 선호
• MS office에 능숙한 자, 영어 문서를 읽고 이해하는 자를 선호
• 새로운 기술 습득에 익숙하고 스스로 이해할 수 있는 자를 선호
