Your Role:
You will have an integral role in our commitment to ensuring a positive difference is made to millions of peoples lives through your role as a Manufacturing Technician working within Liquid Media Production. You will have a varied, challenging and rewarding role working within in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. Within this role you will be responsible for equipment set up, manufacture of products as itemised on the manufacturing schedule and cleaning of manufacturing equipment and facilities, in strict compliance with Quality Assurance, Health & Safety, Environmental, and all other appropriate regulatory standards and Company policies. This role is offered on a permanent basis, working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern consisting of 2 days 2 nights, working 12 hour shifts of 7-7.
Key Accountabilities will Include but are not limited to:
- Ensures the production facility is in a clean and Audit-ready state.
- Completes manufacturing-related records, log books and associated paperwork for all batches produced.
- Uses SAP for completion of electronic batch documentation
- Completes all documentation in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (EXCiPACT GMP).
- Formulates chemical components for batch manufacture as required.
- Cleans and prepares manufacturing areas and required equipment for batch manufacture following site procedures and validated processes
- Manufactures materials following a specific set of manufacturing instructions using process equipment.
- Performs assembly and disassembly of process equipment used for manufacturing to allow for operation and cleaning of such equipment.
- Prioritises workload to allow effective completion in order to meet the Production Schedule and communicates any delays to the Senior Technician or Supervisor.
- Communicates with manufacturing, dispensing and packaging operators to ensure products are manufactured, dispensed and packed within the planned production slot.
- Reports to the Senior Technician or Supervisor any deviations from procedures or processes
- Participates in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Dispenses large volume bags/bottles using automated filling and integrated software system.
Who you are:
- Degree qualified in a Biological or Chemical science OR have previous experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
- You will possess effective numeracy and literacy skills and be well versed in ensuring accurate work is always maintained.
- Experience in a GMP environment is desirable.
- Previous systems experience is desirable, direct experience of using SAP is advantageous.
