About the role
Join our dynamic team as a Healthcare Communications Business Partner, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping impactful narratives and strategies that elevate our therapeutic areas. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with key stakeholders, driving disease awareness and enhancing our corporate communications.
Your Role:
- Craft compelling stories and content that resonate across our Therapeutic Areas, ensuring alignment with our mission to improve patient outcomes.
- Partner with Product Managers and Medical teams to design and execute innovative disease awareness programs that engage healthcare professionals and patients.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to Business Unit Directors (BUD) and Product Managers (PM) to optimize communication strategies and enhance market positioning.
- Collaborate with regional communications teams to share best practices and leverage collective expertise to drive communication excellence.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of agency partners against key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the delivery of high-quality communications.
- Work alongside Medical teams to engage with KOLs, including patient organizations and healthcare professionals, to foster relationships and gather insights.
- Ensure all communication programs adhere to compliance standards, including Quality Control (QC), and Veritas, act as program lead for Patient Data Collection Systems (PDCS), ensure timely reporting of adverse events to the Shared Service Centre Asia and the Local Pharmacovigilance Responsible Person.
- Update and manage healthcare campaigns on internal channels (EVA, email blasts, etc.), ensuring consistent messaging across the organization.
- Maintain comprehensive activity reports and documentation to track progress and outcomes of communication initiatives.
- Update and maintain an up-to-date media and journalist list to facilitate effective outreach.
- Lead media relations activities, including public exposure, press briefings, and press kit development, to enhance corporate visibility.
- Conduct media monitoring to assess the impact of communications and inform future strategies.
- Provide data-driven healthcare narratives for the Annual Report, showcasing our commitment to innovation and patient care.
- Participate in cross-functional event management to promote our corporate initiatives and values.
- Engage in issues and crisis communications management to protect and enhance our corporate reputation.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Management, or Marketing and open for related background in communications.
- Having at least 3-5 years of experience in in-house corporate communications or as part of a communications consultancy.
- Capable of working with people of different seniority levels within the company (managerial and operational), understanding and conveying the value that communications can add to engage internal/external audiences and support business purposes.
- Must be a quick learner, especially in understanding business and industry matters/issues, as well as internal and external communications tools, to quickly assess/recommend suitable communication strategies and tactics to support diverse objectives.
- Strong understanding of digital media platforms, social media trends, and emerging technologies.
- Proficiency in content creation, including writing, editing, and multimedia production.
- Familiarity with analytics tools to measure and analyze the performance of digital campaigns.
- Able to communicate in English and have a digital mindset will be preferred
