In This Role

You will drive business growth by increasing Biomonitoring sales across Indonesia, developing regional sales strategies, and converting leads into business opportunities. You will work closely with key accounts, dealers, and industry stakeholders to promote our product portfolio, identify market opportunities, and build strong relationships with customers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

 

You will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth quotation management, maintain accurate sales reporting, and support a data-driven, globally connected sales environment while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

 

Commercial & Financial Responsibilities

  • Drive and achieve Biomonitoring sales targets across Indonesia.
  • Develop and execute regional and local initiatives aligned with global strategies to generate measurable growth in leads, customer contacts, and opportunity conversions.
  • Promote and sell products to meet customer needs and business objectives.
  • Manage key accounts, secure customer orders, and develop new business opportunities.
  • Tailor sales presentations and solutions based on customer applications and industry segments.
  • Identify and maximize sales opportunities through dealers and distribution channels.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, product launches, and sales strategies.
  • Recommend improvements to products, services, and business policies based on market feedback and competitive analysis.
  • Maintain advanced technical knowledge in microbiology and Biomonitoring solutions.
  • Lead the promotion and growth of mid- to high-tier product portfolios.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and industry stakeholders.

 

 

Operational & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate customer records, including contact details and relevant account information.
  • Keep management informed through regular activity and sales reports in Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Provide recommendations for business process improvements and growth opportunities.
  • Manage quotation requests in collaboration with the Sales Support team.
  • Attend company meetings, exhibitions, sales conferences, and training programs as required.
  • Ensure proper use and security of company assets, including vehicles, laptops, mobile phones, sample stock, and marketing materials.
  • Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time, including expense reporting in accordance with company policies.
  • Provide weekly updates on key achievements and progress against objectives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Biomonitoring Commercial Head.

 

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of professional experience, including demonstrated success in managing high-profile projects and a minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and/or marketing.
  • Educational or professional background in Biology, Microbiology, Food Technology, Pharmacy, Quality Control (QC), or a related field.
  • Based in Greater Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Semarang, or Greater Surabaya.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
  • Digitally savvy and comfortable using technology-driven sales tools.
  • Business-level English proficiency with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of microbiological quality challenges and relevant regulatory standards, including ISO, Pharmacopoeia, APHA, SNI, and related regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively within a globally networked organization.
  • Strong understanding of customer needs, industry trends, and market dynamics.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently while building consensus, managing critical conversations, and resolving conflicts effectively.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Adaptable to modern ways of working, including virtual meetings, remote sales activities, digital customer engagement, data-driven decision-making, and virtual sales closing.
