ABOUT THE ROLE

Commercial and Financial

  • Drive and deliver Biomonitoring Sales number for Indonesia
  • Strategize, build and execute regional and local initiatives to align with global and deliver measurable growth in new leads, contacts, and opportunity conversions
  • Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
  • Managing key accounts, obtaining orders, and establishing new accounts
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of application in each customer segment
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volumes of dealers.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
  • Recommends changes in products, services, and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Maintains professional and technical microbiology knowledge
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion leaders

Operational and Administrative

  • Establish and maintain a record of all customer details with contact names and other pertinent information.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports through SFDC
  • Regularly advise management regarding potential methods of business improvement.
  • Managing quotations by collaborating with Sales Support
  • Attend company meetings, exhibitions, sales conferences, and training courses as requested.
  • Maintain company equipment and have due regard for the security of all items, including car, laptop computers, mobile phones, sample stock literature, etc.
  • Be accurate and punctual in matters of administration of business, including personal expenses as per company guidelines.
  • Report on key achievements relating to objectives every week.
  • General duties as directed by the Biomonitoring Sales Manager or other authorized person.

 

WHO YOU ARE

  • Bachelor’s degree, minimum 3 years of professional experience with demonstrated success in leading high-profile external and internal projects.
  • Candidates with biology, microbiology, food technology, pharmacist, or QC lab backgrounds will be regarded
  • Based in greater Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Semarang, or Greater Surabaya
  • Minimum 1 year experience in sales/marketing
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Should be computer literate
  • English business fluent with demonstrated clear, concise, and effective communication with diverse audiences, both written and oral.
  • Ability to translate quality microbial challenges, while having in-depth knowledge of regulatory topics, ISO, Pharmacopeia, APHA, SNI, and others
  • Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage through influence in a globally-networked organization and be comfortable with changes of priorities.
  • Understanding of customer needs, industry trends, and market influences
  • Intrinsically driven professional with the ability to work independently, having strong consensus-builder, capable of achieving desired outcomes in critical conversations, and managing conflict resolution
  • Willing to travel
  • Able to adapt the new way of working (able to do efficient and effective sales calls, virtual meetings, remote sales closing, data-driven approach,
