Bonded Specialist Job Duties

This role is responsible for bonded warehouse operation and ensuring compliance with regulations through monitoring, relationship building with customs authorities, and coordinating import/export processes. Additionally, the position requires preparing necessary documentation and participating in audits and risk evaluations.

Your Role:

Bonded Warehouse Operation

• Account processing, monthly reporting, customs auditing, BOM adjustments, material tracking, and preparation for the annual customs inventory.
• Conduct budget planning and forecasting for Capex and Opex.
• Engage in communication and coordination by participating in meetings with customs and science park, AEO self-assessment, and risk evaluation activities.
• Document preparation such as the organization of release orders, printing of shipment details, and creating customs documents (packing/invoice).
• Support setup system, document, and process for manufacturing plants.

Compliance Management and Relationship Building

• Monitor and analyze import/export/bonded data to identify compliance issues, take corrective actions to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Customs authorities and ensure AEO compliance.
• Liaise with Freight Forwarders, Customs Authorities, International Trade, and Finance Administration Officials to ensure timely and accurate import/export processes and paperwork.
• Responsible for customer, third-party, and internal audits regarding Import/Export/Bonded related topics.

Who you are

Education:

• Bachelor and relevant degree in business/management major is preferred. 

Working Experience:

• Experience in bonded warehouse operations (minimum of 3 years as a guide).
• Working in science park will prefer.

Technical & Professional Knowledge:

• Bonded Goods Operation Personnel certificate is must.
• Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems such as SAP.
• Familiar with the inventory operations of bonded/non-bonded goods.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations and procedures such as import/export customs clearance operations. TWAEO Security personnel certificate is  must.
• Good communication and organizational skills; able to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation/reporting.
• Experiences in data analytics, programming is a plus.
