EHS Operation manager will lead the team to support operation for EHS programs implementation. Besides, his/her team members will facilitate risk assessments, environmental aspect assessment, job safety analysis, PPE evaluation and support operation emergency response as subject matter expert.      

Your Role 

• Communicate EHS program requirements with operation teams.  
• Promote safety leadership and aggressively involved site improvement projects.  
• Work closely with operation team to ensure autonomous inspection delivery.      
• Maintain regulatory required logs/records and submit the dossiers to the authority in time.  
• Update regulatory permits/license in time to reflect site modification.
• Monitor department proactive and lagging indicators and explore opportunities for improvement.  
• Work with operation to ensure EHS training matrix being followed up.   
• Ensure site hazardous work permit program being implemented as plan. 
• Serve as subject matter expert for operation to facilitate emergency responses.  
• Conduct inspections on regular basis to identify unconformities and opportunities.

Who You Are 

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in EHS or chemical related disciplines preferred, but not limited.
• Requires proven professional experience (minimum of 10-15 years as a guide) in chemical manufacturing plant EHS related function.  
•  Preferred candidates with class B occupational safety officer, EPA responsible person licenses (waste, toxic chemical, etc.), and toxic chemical substance emergency responder, high pressure specific equipment and especially knowledge of public hazardous substance and fire code  
• Must have adequate knowledge and experiences of ISO45001, 14001, RBA, PSM, etc.
• Strong leadership characteristics. Ability to lead teams to deliver on time, demonstrated the ability to foster decision-making.
• High energy, creative, passionate, and self-motivated, strong desire to succeed.Communicates openly and transparently and able to work effectively across the matrix organization.
• Experience in data analytics and programming is a plus.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in both native language and business English.
