Position Summary:

This position is accountable for DS&S Engineering scope in Asia exclude Korea region.  DS&S is the business that offers Specialty Gas Delivery Equipment/Specialty Chemical Delivery Equipment/Turnkey Installation of Gas/Chemical systems and Poly Flow products. Individual is expected to have technical design capability in order to be able to develop products for end customers.

•    We are looking for a dynamic, versatile Electrical Control Design Engineer who will be responsible for new tool design and introduction (LDS; Liquid Delivery System). This process includes equipment electrical design, PLC/HMI coding, P&ID diagram, project management, specification development, vendor selection, procurement, validation and commissioning of manufacturing equipment. 
•    With the fast pace of innovations in semiconductors, you must be able to interact with staff in all functions to meet custome requirement, enhance tool performance and improve quality.
•    We expect that you’ll collaborate, share and work as a team that partners closely with all stakeholders.

Your Role:

•    Experience of equipment integration, automation electrical design, and PLC/HMI coding.
•    Design/Review the electrical schematic and P&ID diagram.
•    Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Maintenance and Reliability (DfMR), HAZOP, Risk assessment and FMEA to build a best-in-class equipment for DS&S.
•    Use a variety of inputs to develop a coherent specification document that clearly defines all aspects of the project.
•    Engage with a variety of stakeholders including, Commerical, Project, Service, Product, Quality, Controls Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing and Operation Planning personnel in the entire process development to commissioning and qualification.
•    Develop and manage project plans to complete within schedule, budget and quality constraints.
•    Assist with Manufacturing/Production Engineering responsibilities if the business dictates. This would include troubleshooting, failure analysis, Quality and Yield improvement.
•    Provide guidance and support to teammates to complete all assigned task.

Who You Are:

•    Minimum Bachelor‘s Degree is required with background of Electric/Automation engineering perferred, but related experience in lieu of education may also be considered.
•    5+ years of working experience in the engineering field in production environment.
•    Ability to design/read electrical schmatics, P&IDs, control drawings, and engineering drawings.
•    Experience working with pump, regulator, valve and sensors (i.e. temperature, level, pressure, flow etc.), and PLC/HMI (Siemens/Proface is plus). 
•    Experience in Project management, mechanical design and development. 
•    Knowledge of PDCA, Risk analysis, FMEA, DFM, DfMR, HAZOP, DMAIC.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft application for writing technical report and documentation of procedures, change control and technical specification.
•    Ability to provide guidance and support to teammates.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skill.
•    Positive mindset with creativity, good problem-solving and analytical abilities. 
•    Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize work.
•    Preferably able to start work with short notice.
