The head of Engineering & Facility mgmt will be accountable for overall site infrastructure management, engineering projects management, 3rd party Facility mgmt and firefighting system management to maximize operational safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity.

 

Your Role: 

Site Infrastructure / Utilities Managemet
•    Stable supply of utilities in terms of quantity and quality to the site, including water, air, gases, chemicals, electricity, and their associated treatment post usage to ensure stable operation of the plants. 
•    Fulfillment of relevant local regulatory requirements can be fulfilled and follow global policy / guidance to reduce, reuse and recycle to achieve global ESG targets. 
•    A high standard of site infrastructure, including buildings, roads, illumination and associated supporting systems can be guaranteed. 
•    A robust firefighting system in place to protect the site operations to mitigate the damage to its minimum

Engineering Project Management
•    Achieve high standard of project mgmt by leveraging resources to lead / manage projects to ensure its quality of work, within budget and timeline expectation. 
•    Follow the site standard in terms of color codes, building shapes and critical dimensions to be in line with corporate architecture guidelines.
•    Ensure employees and contractors in the projects to follow corporate safety guidance and conduct regular checks.

Third party Facility Management
•    Ensure all team members follow our principles to prioritize safety and quality above all
•    Ensure satisfaction of users in conjunction with continual cost improvement

People Management 
•    Promotes positive employee engagement by fostering two-way communication and by resolving employee issues in a timely manner. 

 

Who You Are:

- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Chemistry or Materials Science

-Requires proven professional experience (minimum of 10-15 years as a guide) including substantial people management experience in diverse roles – minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing plant management functio

-Prefer candidates from chemical manufacturing background, and especially knowledge of semiconductor industry standards and quality expectations

-Must have adequate knowledge of business management principles such as budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources.

-Strong leadership characteristics. Ability to attract, motivate and retain talent. Demonstrated the ability to deliver strong team building, fostering decision-making empowerment, and people management skills

-Communicates openly and transparently, not afraid of delivering bad news or ensuring operational discipline is maintained. Challenges both self and others via clear objectives, frequent feedback, and appropriate actions.Ability

  to work effectively across the matrix organization.

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong leadership messaging, in both native language and business English.
