Your Role:

As a Mechanical Engineer in the Semiconductors Capital Investment Project Execution Team, you will provide technical discipline expertise in mechanical engineering on a variety of asset builds and infrastructure modifications ranging in scope from specialty chemical production equipment installation to greenfield building construction.

Responsibilities include: 

• In charge of project independently, from design engineering, construction, commissioning to startup activities including pre-startup safety reviews and closure of punch list items.
• Work with high pace within a matrix environment and communicate with remote team members, project managers, and customers.

• Business travelling up to 10% may be required.
• Provide technical solutions, risk evaluation, oversight and mitigation plan, and implementation strategies to achieve the desired balance of economical cost to serve, asset flexibility, technical risk, EHS compliance.

• Demonstrate organizational awareness and prompt issue communication to lead technical teams toward business objectives.

 Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS degree in mechanical engineering or related.
• 8+ years of experience, with experience in a variety of functions which could include mechanical design, mechanical integrity.
  • Familiar with all major mechanical engineering expertise including but not limited to:

• HVAC: Duct Plan, Material, Exchange Rate, grade of cleaning, humidity control
• 2D/3d Design and Drafting Software: AutoCAD, SolidWorks et.
• Piping/Tubing and Valve Design: PFD, P&ID, Route, Sizing, Material, Valve list
• Equipment Selection and Spec: Compressor, Scrubber, Pump, Vessel, Heat Exchanger, Agitator, and Insulation.
• Document Preparation: Data Sheet, MR (Material Requisition), TBE (Technical Bid Evaluation)
• Review Analysis and Calculation sheet: NPSH, Stress Analysis, HTRI
• Code and Standard: ASME, API, ANSI, and Hazardous Area Classification, Firefighting Regulation, and Hazardous Equipment Inspection Relevant Regulation.
• Painting Code: International Painting Spec, Color Code, and Corrosion Protection

• Knowledge of pressure vessels, material spec, piping, valving, insulation, corrosion control, Non and welded assemblies ensuring ASME and International Code Compliance for vessels. (ASME BPV, Section VIII; ASME B31.3)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Engineering (MS or PhD)
• Experience in specialty gas plant.
• Proficient at Package and Rotary Equipment
• Experience in integration of firefighting, HVAC, and plumbing.
• Experience of Commissioning and Construction.
