Your Role: As the Country Medical Excellence Manager / Country Strategy & Operations Manager (S&O), you will play a pivotal role in managing the medical budget and ensuring effective allocation of resources under the guidance of the Head of MA Country / Medical Director Country. You will collaborate with Regional Commercial Operations, Clinical Operations, and MA Strategy & Operations to drive the development of Medical Affairs capabilities. Your responsibilities will include coordinating local brand and launch planning processes, facilitating best practice sharing, and ensuring compliance with policies and guidelines.

You will oversee training requirements for medical functions and coordinate the onboarding of new medical affairs employees. Additionally, you will lead initiatives to enhance local medical education and may manage Patient Support Programs. Your role will also involve building Medical Governance and Infrastructure to address unmet needs, supporting data generation initiatives, and engaging with stakeholders to align on innovative solutions for patients.

You will develop and execute initiatives that incorporate innovative technologies to enhance the education of healthcare professionals, while also fostering strategic relationships with key opinion leaders and experts in health and technology.

You will deliver or support development of Innovative projects – implement virtual digital tools. Actively participate in the company's innovation committees, providing expertise in the therapeutic area and contributing ideas and contacts (experts, startups, companies, etc.) for the development of new digital products/services and business models.

 

Who You Are:

  • You have a University Degree in a relevant scientific field and preferably an advanced degree or business training.
  • You bring similar experience (minimum 8 years) in medical affairs or clinical development within the pharmaceutical industry, along with budgeting and funding expertise. Your strong analytical skills and project management abilities enable you to navigate complex processes effectively.
  • You possess excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills, you thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • You have advanced scientific knowledge and a strategic mindset, allowing you to influence and drive medical strategy effectively. Your ethical outlook and problem-solving orientation ensure that you deliver high-quality results while managing multiple priorities.
  • You are proficient in English
