 Your Role:

Leading and coaching of Team

  • Leading, building and optimizing the effectiveness of the sales team through mentoring, supporting and driving results
  • Responsible for business achievement for respective therapy area to achieve target through team.
  • Recruiting top talent into the sales force whilst motivating, developing and retaining the sales team through appropriate training, mentoring and succession planning
  • Ensuring in-field coaching of all team members to enable optimal customer engagement and gathering of market insights.
  • Control & monitor/ track team performance and manage accordingly.
  • Maintain oversight of all Representative activities to ensure all activities are in line with compliance and marketing code policies.

 

Leading territory management and collaboration with Commercial Manager

  • Personally, managing the relationship with an agreed list of KTLs and key pharmacies in both the private market and state sector
  • Ensure that agreed targets are met in accordance with regional and national Operational Plan
  • Fostering a feedback culture between the Sales Team, Commercial Manager and Marketing team to ensure optimal in-market strategies and timely plans to counter competitor activities
  • Manage and track the OPEX in the territories to ensure year end landing within the plan.
  • Responsible for the overall operation and profitability of the region as well as the achievement of pre-set sales targets.

 

     Insights into strategy

  • Provide reporting to the Franchise Head and Brand manager.
  • Use relevant script data as well as representative feedback to provide accurate monthly forecasting for in-market sales per therapeutic area for the territory.
  • Analyze and evaluate (in-market sales and Market share) on a monthly & quarterly basis, take immediate corrective action where and when necessary.
  • In-dept competitive knowledge, as well as market analysis, identify and develop marketing/sales opportunities within region.
  • Quarterly business review and action plans

 

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry essential
  • Proven sales and client management track record
  • Ability to plan and execute in a given time frame.
  • A good grasp of marketing strategies and the roll out thereof
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to lead a high performing sale team.
  • Experience interpreting data management programs e.g.  ImpactRx would be an advantage.
  • Understanding of the budgeting and forecasting processes and advantage
