Automation Engineer / Role in Portugal or in Spain

Your Role:

 In this exciting position, you will join the Security Operations Team, playing a crucial role in supporting Global Patching and Vulnerability Management operations. You will manage the end-to-end patch management process, conducting vulnerability assessments and prioritizing patches to mitigate risks across enterprise infrastructure, endpoints, server hardware, operating systems, and applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations while managing the Global Patch and Vulnerability Management process on a global scale. Your deep technical knowledge of Patching and Vulnerability Management Infrastructure systems will be essential for success. You will leverage your in-depth troubleshooting skills and experience with technical documentation to create and maintain vital resources, such as working instructions and knowledge-based articles. Additionally, you will ensure patches are thoroughly tested for compatibility and stability before deployment. You will prepare detailed reports on patch compliance, system performance, and vulnerability remediation, providing insights and updates to senior leadership on patch management progress. As a potential team lead, you will guide and support your colleagues effectively. In this role, you will also embrace DevOps practices to enhance the efficiency of patch management processes, utilizing automation tools to streamline deployment and monitoring activities. Your familiarity with AI technologies will help in identifying vulnerabilities and optimizing patch management workflows. Who You Are:

• Over 5 years of prior experience in Windows and VMware environments. Relevant certifications in Microsoft Windows Server, VMware, and Linux are advantageous. Proficient in coding and scripting, particularly with PowerShell, Python, or Ruby.
• Extensive experience with API interfaces for data integration between systems.Strong knowledge of server administration, Patch Management, and OS-specific debugging tools.
• Familiarity with server technologies such as Active Directory Services, WSUS, and DNS.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools to enhance automation and efficiency in patch management processes.
• Knowledge of AI technologies to assist in vulnerability identification and workflow optimization

This role can be hired in Portugal, in addition to Spain.
