Your role: Are you an expert in cost accounting, management accounting, and financial data analysis within SAP systems? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! As a Business Architect for Controlling and Reporting, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial processes using S4Hana technology and advanced reporting platforms. In this position, you will collaborate closely with our accounting and controlling community, helping them navigate and optimize their challenging processes. Leveraging your expertise in SAP FICO, FIORI, BW, SAC, and interfaced modules (such as SD, PP, MM-PUR, and PS), you will design processes for our templates and provide valuable insights for continuous improvement.

Your recommendations will guide the implementation and operational use of our systems, making you a key member of our team responsible for rolling out templates to Merck legal entities worldwide. As a Business Architect, you will be the primary contact for key users and technical colleagues, sharing your expert knowledge and driving successful outcomes. This position is fully remote and based in Spain, while being part of a dynamic and innovative team. Join us and make a significant impact on our financial architecture!

Who you are:

• You have a University degree or comparable education
• You have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in cost accounting, management accounting, business administration and computer science
• You have expert knowledge in the technical set-up of SAP ERP S4 Hana Systems and ECC
• Very good knowledge in SAP FICO and interfaced modules on ECC 6.0 and S4Hana
• Very good knowledge in SAP BW, the interface to ERP, and other reporting tools as BO Analysis for Office
• Excellent communication skills and team player
• Proficient in English. Good skills in one other language are plus
