Your role
You are the Global Occupational Safety and Process Safety Lead, responsible for providing trusted guidance on identifying, assessing, and managing safety risks within the GHO organization and other Healthcare interfaces. In this instrumental role for all Healthcare business, you will drive operational safety control measures across sites and the network while offering a strategic vision for improvements in occupational and process safety.
You will conduct performance reviews to ensure compliance with regulations and corporate policies, evaluate safety risks, and develop strategies for risk elimination and mitigation. Additionally, you will support hazard analyses and risk assessments, ensuring expertise in areas such as process equipment integrity and safety management systems. As the process owner for incident investigations, you will assist management in accident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Your focus will also include standardizing best practices across locations, providing training and coaching to managers, and driving behavioral safety initiatives to foster a culture of safety. Effective communication of successes and recognition of contributors will be key responsibilities in your role.
Who you are
- At least 10 years of experience in the field of Occupational Health & Safety and Process Safety, preferably in an international environment
- Scientific, engineering, chemical or pharmaceutical background, preferable additional Postgrade in Occupational Safety
- Global travel required (10-20%)
- Fluent in English
- Strong communication skills, change management skills, and apt interaction across hierarchy levels
- Strong direct and indirect management skills
- Leadership and influencing skills
