Your role: As the Packaging Maintenance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our packaging equipment in a dynamic pharmaceutical environment. You will supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities within a 24x7 production setting, leading a dedicated team of approximately 18 talented individuals. Your extensive experience in team management will be essential as you foster a collaborative and safe work culture while prioritizing the development of technical skills among your team members. By developing and executing strategic maintenance plans, you will maximize equipment availability and minimize production downtime. Your commitment to regulatory compliance will ensure that all maintenance operations align with the pharmaceutical industry's stringent standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). You will be responsible for managing the maintenance department budget efficiently, promoting resourceful use of funds while maintaining high-quality standards. Analyzing equipment failures will be a key part of your role as you investigate root causes and implement effective corrective actions. Collaborating closely with various departments, you will address challenges that could impact manufacturing processes, actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Lastly, you will maintain accurate documentation and reporting on all maintenance activities, providing insights for senior management on operational status.

 

Who you are:

 
  • You have 5 to 10 years of experience in team management, with proven success leading and motivating teams.
  • You possess strong leadership skills and can inspire a culture of operational excellence.
  • You have solid technical knowledge of packaging machinery and maintenance systems.
  • You excel in time management, prioritizing effectively to minimize disruptions in production.
  • Your analytical thinking allows you to identify root causes of failures and propose swift solutions.
  • You communicate effectively with various departments, fostering teamwork and coordination.
  • You have a strong focus on quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
  • You are flexible and adaptable, capable of responding to emergencies in a fast-paced environment.
