Your role :

 

We are looking for someone with a background in engineering or computer science and specializes in developing automation software and HMI for hardware systems based on P&ID and customer specifications. Software Design Specifications or Functional Design Specifications are written and reviewed to ensure compliance with the specifications. Documents related to projects are reviewed and approved. Tests protocols are written and executed. Technical support is provided to project managers during the quotation, design, and test phases. Participation in internal or external technical meetings with partners and customers is expected. Quality or Field Service teams are supported to handle and resolve customer complaints. Occasional travel to partners or clients is required as part of the projects. EHS rules and GMP requirements are observed, and compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, safety standards, European directives, 21 CFR part 11, and GAMP5 is ensured. Understanding of PID control, loop tuning, and process control is expected, along with familiarity with industrial sensors, actuators, and control devices. Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, automation standards, and regulatory requirements is beneficial. 

 

Who you are :

 

  • Education includes a Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred in some cases.
  • Technical expertise includes programming languages such as Python, Java, and C++, PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA systems. Experience with automation software such as Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Automation Studio, Ifix, etc., is desired.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, automation standards, and regulatory requirements is beneficial.
  • The ability to work independently to meet deadlines; the profile is analytical, pragmatic, methodical, and rigorous, with strong interpersonal skills and a team spirit. 
  • Integrity, curiosity, and teamwork are valued.
