Your role:

 

The BioMonitoring Innovation organization (R&D and Marketing) develops new solutions for our global customers, the microbiological quality control laboratories in the pharmaceutical and food industries. As the Innovation Product Manager (f/m) in the BioMonitoring Pharma team, you will be responsible for gathering and formulating compelling business arguments to make investment decisions in products by analyzing market size, financial projections, and risks. You will need to collect and analyze the necessary information to determine suitable business models, timelines, and strategies. You will seek creative approaches to solve market problems and develop innovative products.

 

You will develop personas representing the key users of our products and services. As the product owner, you will define requirements, provide the necessary documentation and context to enable designers and developers to create appropriate solutions. You will create relevant content for all marketing channels and materials.

 

Your role will also include discovering why products succeed or fail in the market and understanding the buyer's journey. You will understand market issues and define unique and differentiated solutions to stand out from the competition. You will be responsible for building and developing a product portfolio aligned with the company's strategy and market segment.

 

You will ensure the growth and profitability of the portfolio through pricing analysis, cost improvements in partnership with operations, and innovation. You will develop the overall marketing plan, including go-to-market programs aligned with the buying process. You will provide sales tools and training for the sales team and distribution partners, including competitive intelligence.Finally, you will support the BioMonitoring organization with market and product expertise.

 

Who you are:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Biology, Microbiology, or any Life Science-related field
  • Product Manager with a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing a product portfolio at a global level
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in innovation within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry.
  • You are customer-oriented and have significant experience in product development and innovation.
  • You have the ability to translate strategy into specific tactics and effectively implement a tactical plan.
  • You know how to work in a team, thinking beyond your own responsibilities for the benefit of the team and the company.
  • You are willing to travel occasionally.
  • You are curious, open-minded, and able to adapt to changes.
  • You possess coordination skills, with demonstrated experience in driving projects or process improvements.
  • You have the ability to communicate, motivate, and influence within a matrix organization.
  • You are fluent in English. French would be an asset
