Overview

  • The Regional Coatings Marketing role for APAC incorporates voice of customer and market trends to the Coating segment management process and translates segment strategy into an execution plan for sales.
  • With the responsibility of Coating product portfolio focusing on Auto OEM COAs, Refinish COAs, Plastic COAs, Powder COAs, Coil COAs, 2-Wheeler COAs, ete as well as Functional applications.
  • This position is expected to contribute to the development of new out of box concepts, techniques, and standards in regard to the Regional Marketing function. 
  • As an expert in his/her particular technical aspects,  this person develops solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of innovation ensuring solutions are consistent with organization objectives. 
  • As needed, this role has to also function in a project leadership role with entire project management in APAC.

Responsibilities include

  • Develop and implement the regional marketing strategy aligned with global and commercial objectives.
  • Collaborate with product management to support go-to-market strategies for new raw materials innovations
  • Initiate customer project and trace a progress of projects of sub-regions in APAC
  • Drive demand generation through targeted campaigns, events, webinars, digital channels and trade shows.
  • Create sales tools and training materials tailored to targeted campaigns / activities.
  • Design, develop, execute, track, analyze, report the performance of marketing campaigns, including social media reach out, managing the marketing budget
  • Take and drive accountability for activities, develop priorities and sales develop plans, own product launches and tech. training supported by InA, etc.,
  • Defend and grow market share thru marketing plans and programs for each product with strong collaboration with Sales, Technical, Product Management, Global Marketing, etc., take direct ownership of NPIs & Focus products sales.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
  • Tailored & customized marketing support to key accounts to strengthen customer relationships
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to ensure marketing continuity and communication clarity of SUSONITY.
  • Maintain brand consistency across regional channels
  • Ensure proactive communication with stakeholders (customers, partners, and internal teams) throughout the transition.

 

Professional Experience:

  • 5-8 years of marketing and/or sales experience in B2B Coating sectors such as specialty chemicals, raw materials, or manufacturing (i.e. Paint supplier)Technical background about understanding “Paint formulation” is strongly preferred.
  • Strong experience in go-to-market (GTM) strategy, particularly for new product introductions (NPIs incl. Pre-launch activity).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead integrated demand generation campaigns (events, digital, trade shows, etc.) with measurable ROI.
  • Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration (Sales, Technical, Product Management, Global Marketing) and ownership of product launch planning.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor degree or above in chemistry related major.

  • Strategic planning, regional execution
  • Strong understanding capabilities on color trend and paint formulations
  • Strong communication and presentation skill
  • Excellent communicator, able to work effectively across cultures and departments
  • Representative of MarCom in Coatings for the region
  • Responsible for customer training program (e.g. Pigments Academy program)
  • Market & Competition intelligence
