Your role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Expert Investigations & Case Management within the Compliance Center of Expertise for the APAC region. 

In this pivotal role, you will manage and lead internal Compliance Investigations within APAC, ensuring they are conducted diligently, timely and in line with internal policies, applicable laws, and regulations. You will conduct Compliance Investigations of high severity from intake to closure, including data analytics, ensuring that all cases within your area of responsibility are handled with high quality, diligence and in a timely manner, and that recommended corrective measures are defined in alignment with relevant stakeholders.

In this role, you will collaborate with LE colleagues at regional and local levels and provide timely, risk-based and value-adding guidance and support to Compliance Officers during their investigations. You will play a key role in further developing, maintaining and training our internal investigation and case management processes and standards, and will help to provide global standards and oversight to ensure that Compliance Investigations are conducted consistently and diligently. This role reports to the Director of Compliance Investigations and Case Management and requires close collaboration and communication with LE colleagues and other departments, e.g. Employee Relations as well as business stakeholders.

Who you are: 

• Above bachelor’s degree in law / related to law or Master of Business Administration preferred
• Minimum 5 years working experience in multinational company compliance or law firm
• Familiarity with multinational corporate compliance culture
• Have knowledge in anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws and regulations, knowledge in anti-money laundering will be a plus
• Solid experience (5+ years) in Compliance Investigations or Internal Audits, including experience in data analytics
• Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively across a diverse, highly-matrixed organization
• Ability to think strategically, lead multiple initiatives simultaneously, and to work independently
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
