Sustainability Reporting Lead- Healthcare | ESG

Based out of Bangalore / Mumbai 

We are hiring for the position of Project Manager - Sustainability Reporting Lead- Healthcare. In this role, your primary responsibility is to ensure success of Sustainability Reporting of our Healthcare Business. You are the process owner for the Healthcare ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards) and contribute to the collection, analysis, and submission of relevant Healthcare information for the ESRS reporting cycle and other relevant ESG ratings (GRI, TCFD, SASB, etc.).

 

Your role and responsibilities:

 

  1. Sustainability Process reporting and optimization: Implement audit-ready Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) reporting process for the year 2024, first report published by March 2025 ensuring compliance with ESRS reporting requirements and standards. Continual improvement and optimization of Sustainability reporting processes to match evolution of ESG reporting standards.
  2. Enablement and Guidance for Content Owners: ensuring their readiness for disclosure requirements, closing identified gaps, and developing a compliance roadmap. Spot trends in Sustainability reporting benchmarks, coordinate with HCSS core team on relevant applicability to HCSS workstreams.
  3. Support HCSS Projects and Activities: assist HCSS team members, preparing deliverables and coordinating stakeholder involvement for successful execution.
  4. Collaboration with Stakeholders: serving as a champion to communicate the value and importance of HCSS initiatives to adjacent functions and activities. Coordination with external stakeholders (e.g., auditors) as needed to validate Sustainability information collected and submitted to ESRS and other reports.  
  5. Performance Tracking and Reporting: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress and evaluate the performance of Sustainability reporting activities.
  6. Alignment with Parallel Initiatives: Ensure coordination and alignment with other initiatives addressing Sustainability-relevant aspects, including the implementation of Sustainable Development Impact (SDI) measures.
  7. Collecting and analyzing raw data for reporting purposes and documenting assessments according to the relevant Sustainability frameworks and indicators (ESRS, GRI, SASB, etc.).
  8. Structuring data to ensure consistent and replicable reporting over subsequent years and assisting with legal compliance by monitoring forward-looking legislation.
  9. Generating and analyzing data to support subject matter experts, providing valuable insights for decision-making.
  10. Validating the relevance of reported items with the core team and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

 

Your qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree, further certifications and/or education, and project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus
  2. 5 – 7  years of professional experience in project management, especially in consultancy, audit, or industry reporting roles. Previous experience handling ESG and/or sustainability reporting (GRI, SASB, a plus. (Total experience over 9 yrs)
  3. Solid experience with data analysis tools and techniques: good knowledge of MS office (Excel, Power Point, Power BI, Word); Analysis and a prior experience with large ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus.
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Being able to work with different seniority levels.
  5. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Relevant experience in navigating complex regulatory environments
  6. Experience in process improvement, standardization. Details oriented while able to keep a holistic/helicopter view .
  7. Hands on and dedicated. Eager to learn and develop, search for new competencies. Implements the feedback effectively, able to self-reflect.
  8. Ability to foster teamwork and to develop strong relationships based on trust, being a reliable business partner respecting deadlines and commitments.
  9. Professional proficiency in English is a must, another language is a plus.
  10. Experienced with stakeholder management and collaboration across broad set of global functions
