Your Role
At the intersection of commercial strategy and cutting-edge technology, this role is your opportunity to shape how data-driven intelligence powers healthcare decisions across the affiliate. As Manager, Business Intelligence, Data Science & AI, you will lead the design and delivery of analytics capabilities — from executive dashboards and predictive models to AI-powered automation tools — that directly accelerate commercial performance and strategic decision-making. You will own the end-to-end Business Intelligence agenda, integrating diverse data sources to generate insights that matter, and translating complex analytical findings into compelling narratives for senior leadership. Operating with considerable autonomy, you will define priorities, develop policies, and build solutions that position the affiliate at the forefront of commercial analytics in the pharmaceutical industry. This is a role for someone who combines deep technical expertise with strong business acumen and the ability to influence at the highest levels of the organization.

Who You Are

  • You hold a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Analytics, or Business Administration is preferred.
  • You bring 5 to 8 or more years of experience in Business Intelligence within the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong track record in commercial analytics, market research, and supporting Marketing, Sales, and Leadership teams.
  • You are proficient in Power BI, advanced Excel, statistical modelling, and machine learning fundamentals for building predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions. Experience in Python and SQL is a plus.
  • You have hands-on experience developing AI agents, Generative AI solutions, and automation tools — including familiarity with large language model orchestration frameworks and responsible AI governance principles.
  • You demonstrate the ability to integrate and synthesize multiple commercial data sources — including syndicated market data, CRM platforms, digital analytics, and financial data — into coherent, actionable insights.
  • You communicate with clarity and confidence, translating complex analytical outputs into strategic narratives for executive audiences, and collaborating effectively across commercial, medical, and digital functions.
  • You demonstrate AI literacy — including a working understanding of how artificial intelligence technologies function, their practical business applications, ethical considerations such as bias and data privacy, and the governance frameworks that ensure responsible use in a commercial healthcare context.
  • You are fluent in Spanish (native level) and have advanced business-level proficiency in English.
