We are looking for a skilled Payroll & Rewards Leader to oversee the end-to-end Rewards to Pay / Payroll processes and employee lifecycle management for our operations in Mexico. In this role, you will ensure full compliance with Mexican labor regulations and institutions such as the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. You will lead a dedicated team, spearhead process improvements in personnel administration, and manage audits, internal reviews, and external requirements.
This is a strategic and hands-on role that requires a proactive leader focused on operational excellence, compliance, and people management.
Your role:
- Lead the execution and oversight of payroll and rewards processes in Mexico.
- Ensure strict adherence to labor laws and government regulations.
- Manage a team responsible for employee lifecycle administration.
- Drive continuous improvement in HR operational processes.
- Respond to internal audits and external compliance requirements.
- Identify and implement key control points and process optimizations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and Compliance teams.
Who You Are:
- 5+ years of experience in payroll, rewards, or HR operations roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Public Accounting, or a related field.
- Fluent in English (advanced/conversational level required).
- Proven experience in payroll processes and labor compliance in Mexico.
- Experience in employee benefits, specifically in health insurance managment.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Team management and customer service orientation.
- Skilled in administrative process improvement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and SuccessFactors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
