Your role
- Lead and implement the Quality Management System (QMS) ensuring GMP and GDP compliance at the Mexico subsidiary.
- Manage quality indicators, audits, training, and corrective actions to maintain high regulatory standards.
- Coordinate product release, returns, recalls, product launches, and relationships with local health authorities.
- Oversee critical suppliers, third-party logistics, ensuring their qualification and continuous monitoring.
- Act as Product Crime Officer, managing product crime incidents according to corporate standards.
- Lead and develop the quality team by setting objectives, development plans, and ensuring aligned performance.
- Control the quality department budget and conduct performance evaluations, recruitment, and training of the team.
- Sanitary responsible, acting as the Legal representative the company before local health authorities and ensure compliance with specific regulations (NOM-59-SSA1).
Who you are
- Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Pharmacology, Medicine, or related scientific field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry, including quality and distribution.
- Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP), as well as local laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in managing quality systems, audits, and compliance processes.
- Demonstrated experience in people management, acting as a key business partner for quality matters, including team leadership, development, and performance evaluation.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-changing environment.
