Job Summary

The Business Support Specialist plays a key role in providing administrative, operational, and project support to ensure the efficient running of the organization. This role involves coordinating processes, managing documentation, supporting stakeholders, organizing events, and contributing to the achievement of business objectives. Given the dynamic nature of the executive landscape, we rely on this specialist to be flexible and consistent while maintaining the confidentiality of high-level systems and operations.

 

What You Do

  • Administrative Support: Manage schedules, organize meetings, and maintain records/documentation for business operations.
  • Event Management: Plan, organize, and execute company events, meetings, and conferences, including logistics, vendor coordination, and post-event reporting.
  • Operational Efficiency: Assist in streamlining workflows and ensuring timely execution of tasks.
  • Project Assistance: Provide support for ongoing projects, including preparing reports, tracking deliverables, and maintaining project documentation.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Data Management: Compile, analyze, and maintain data to support decision-making processes.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Technology Support: Use business tools and software to support operational, event planning, and reporting needs.

 

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in event planning and execution is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with business tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Experience in a similar role is an advantage but not required.
