Your Role

As the leader, you are responsible for developing and implementing a robust sales strategy, Your role is to increase market share and achieve growth that outpaces the market, specifically within the industrial, pharma, diagnostic, and dealer channels. You will achieve this by inspiring and leading a high-performing sales team toward success. This position reports to the Head of Commercial Malaysia and oversees the overall direction and performance of the sales team.

What You Do

  • Execute Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for Science & Lab Solutions.
  • Drive the development and execution of operational plans with cross-functional teams to maximize sales performance.
  • Lead a key account management sales model to optimize customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Cultivate strong customer relationships by delivering key account-focused, customer-centric solutions.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive intelligence to inform portfolio growth and segment-specific sales initiatives.
  • Provide visionary leadership to build, empower, and engage a high-impact sales team.
  • Leverage global and regional marketing strategies, working closely with the marketing team to ensure effective implementation.
  • Manage the sales budget, ensuring the optimal use of sales resources.
  • Deliver regular sales analysis and forecasting reports to your line manager and relevant stakeholders.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Sciences or a higher qualification in a relevant scientific or business discipline.
  • Proven experience in a sales management role within the life sciences industry.
