Your role: 

• Lead projects to enhance manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and develop innovative solutions.
• Manage production processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and digital transformation solutions.
• Oversee NPI (New Product Introduction) for semiconductor chemical processes, utilizing process design modeling and simulation tools.
• Troubleshoot process issues, manage quality control, and mentor team members.
• Drive continuous innovation and improvement in existing systems and processes.

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications

- BS degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related filed
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in chemical process engineering at semiconductor industry
- Experience in process improvement and optimization
- Digital transformation capabilities: Ability to utilize digital technologies to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance overall efficiency
- Experience with PCS (Process Control System) and recipe management system in process automation
- Experience in design and commissioning of industrial control systems, including instrumentation, network architecture, and PLC/HMI programming (Allen Bradley, Rockwell FactoryTalk, RSLogix/Studio 5000 preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Effective communication skills within and outside the team
- Collaboration experience with global teams
- Fluent in both English and Korean
 

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) and system development
- Experience in process design considering safety and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in data analysis with various manufacturing datasets to make dashboards or reports
- Knowledge of quality prediction concepts using not only statistics but also AI/ML
- Experience in leading six-sigma projects as a certified green or black belt
- Knowledge of OSHA or PSM (Process Safety Management) requirements and direct experience in chemical plant safety programs
- Validated ability to solve sophisticated problems and deal with a variety of situations while maintaining expected cost, schedule, quality and scope
- Experiences in implementing projects in chemical process plant environment for electronic materials
- Proven experience as a member of leadership at an electronic material manufacturing plant, helping to identify solutions and drive efficiency and continuous improvement
- Wide range of PC software skills needed to effectively run project timelines and spending
- Experience in the design of ISA-88 batch control systems
