Your Role (Hard Skills & Responsibilities)

As the guardian of our core infrastructure, you will ensure high availability, performance, and strict regulatory compliance. Your technical mission includes:

  • System Operations - Manage daily operations including user administration, batch job scheduling (ROBOT), system backups, and incident resolution
  • System Maintenance - Apply OS/400 updates, PTFs, firmware patches, and support lifecycle management activities
  • Security & Compliance - Implement security policies, manage user authorities, apply security patches, and audit system activity
  • Performance Management - Monitor system resources, resolve bottlenecks, and optimize performance using diagnostic tools
  • Disaster Recovery - Maintain DR environment at Dallas site, manage replication, and coordinate annual DR drills
  • Automation & Scripting - Develop CL programs and scripts to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency
  • Collaboration - Work with application teams, developers (RPG/COBOL), DBAs, and business stakeholders to support operational needs
  • Required Skills: IBM AS400/IBM i, Disaster Recovery, ROBOT Scheduler, CL Programming, OS/400, System Backup & Recovery, User Management, Performance Monitoring

Who You Are:
We are looking for a resilient, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a global, cross-functional environment:

  • Global Communicator: English fluency is mandatory. You will be responsible for daily reporting and troubleshooting with the technical Indian teams and business stakeholders around the globe.
  • Time Zone Agile: You are comfortable and available to work aligned with US Time Zones, ensuring seamless coordination with our Dallas-based infrastructure and North American operations.
  • Hybrid Adaptability: You enjoy the flexibility of mostly remote work, while being available to collaborate in person at our Barueri/São Paulo office a couple of days per week (typically twice a week).
  • Collaborative Partner: You work seamlessly with RPG/COBOL developers, DBAs, and business stakeholders across different continents and cultures.
  • Analytical & Process-Oriented: You have a "compliance-first" mindset, essential for the pharmaceutical industry, and a sharp eye for identifying system bottlenecks.
