Your Role

As a Key Account Manager, you will drive strategic growth across your assigned Italian territory by developing cross-functional account plans and achieving quarterly sales targets. You are responsible for positioning specialized treatments to Healthcare Professionals through a sophisticated mix of in-person and digital engagement. You will lead evidence-based clinical discussions, leveraging approved data to address complex patient needs. By tracking performance metrics and competitive intelligence within CRM systems, you will optimize territory results. Your role involves spearheading omnichannel strategies, identifying new referral networks, and fostering deep relationships with key stakeholders. You will act as a market expert, sharing insights to shape brand strategy while maintaining absolute regulatory compliance and continuously advancing your therapeutic expertise. 

 

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales or negotiation-focused role. Experience in Rare Oncology or closely related field is a plus
  • Proven experience in drug launches
  • Completed Pharmaceutical Representative Examination
  • Experience in marketing is a plus
  • Deep knowledge of the local Healthcare system/hospital environment
  • Sound business acumen, ability to engage decision makers and a solid track record in successfully managing relationships with key customers in a rare Oncology or rare disease environment
  • Proven ability to drive account ownership and revenue growth, ensuring long-term customer engagement 
  • Excellent communication, selling & negotiation skills 
  • Demonstrated drive for high performance and results, resilience,  entrepreneurial mindset, and commitment to continuous learning
  • Omnichannel mindset and digital capabilities
  • Willingness to travel with overnight stays, willingness to irregularly work outside of standard working hours depending on customer needs
  • BSc or higher in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Health Economics, or other related areas
  • Fluency in Italian and good knowledge of English
