Your role:
As the Site EHS Manager (m/f), you will play a key role in defining and implementing the EHS policy for our pharmaceutical production site in Semoy. You will actively participate in setting objectives and be a driving force in deploying our EHS initiatives. Your expertise will ensure that all preventive and corrective actions are effectively coordinated to minimize risks, in compliance with current regulations and best practices. You will manage and develop a small team of 3 people, guiding them in their efforts to maintain rigorous safety and environmental standards.
Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring EHS indicators and facilitating training sessions to promote a culture of safety and compliance. Your communication skills, both with internal and external stakeholders, will be crucial for establishing connections with various departments (locally and with global EHS teams) and with external authorities. You will also play a key role in managing emergency situations and ensuring our site is prepared for any incidents. By participating in continuous improvement initiatives, you will contribute to the overall well-being of our employees and the environment. You will also dedicate 5 to 10% of your time to topics related to your role as EHS Coordinator for France with our other French sites.

This position of Site EHS Manager (m/f) is based in Semoy (45, near Orléans) and requires regular presence on-site (occasional remote work possible, maximum one day per week).
Who you are:
- You hold a Master's degree or an Engineering degree (general or chemical) and have a successful experience in a similar role as Site EHS Manager in an industrial environment.
- You have at least 5 years of successful experience in EHS team management.
- You have an excellent understanding of current regulations and compliance requirements in the French market (EHS standards, laws, etc.) and are accustomed to dealing with national or local authorities (DREAL, prefecture, etc.).
- You possess strong technical skills in safety and environmental management and are familiar with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.
- You are fluent in both French and English; proficiency in German is a plus.
- You demonstrate autonomy, organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- You excel in teamwork and possess strong interpersonal, leadership, communication and teaching skills.
