This role is a commercial role selling BioReliance® Biosafety Testing Services to customers in Korea  - via phone, e-mail and face to face communication.

This role will be also be responsible for the direct selling activities in focus accounts, attendance at key events and maintain close contact with key accounts for quotation of routine testing services and proposal generation for custom projects.

This role will also be responsible to assist marketing in lead generation and qualification activities.

 

Your Role:

  • Consistently achieve or exceed the territory sales plan by applying a working knowledge of Professional Consultative and Strategic Selling skills to maintain existing business, developing incremental business in existing accounts, and prospecting to develop new accounts.
  • Demonstrate use of selling skills in the field, such as making good opening statements, rapidly establishing a rapport with the customer, asking effective open questions, creating the value proposition and closing.
  • Develop and maintain effective business relationships, at all levels within assigned accounts to influence purchasing decisions.
  • Develop, maintain and execute a Strategic Business Plan for the assigned territory to demonstrate effective territory planning and management skills.
  • Develop profiles of key accounts to identify key decision makers, influencers and opinion leaders.
  • Maintain and increase current customer database through Company customer relations management software (SFDC).
  • Utilise available data sources to analyse and capitalise on territory opportunities with the greatest ROI.
  • Communicate key competitive activities, trends, and changing customer development plans and priorities, which include emerging customers.
  • Attain or exceed assigned sales goals, profit goals, and market share goals consistently with respect to expense guidelines.
  • Develop and implement account specific strategic plans.
  • Formulate and recommend pricing strategies for key accounts.

 

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's Degree of the life sciences or related field (MSc or PhD is preferred.)
  • +3 years of relevant sales / technical sales experience or equivalent, ideally balanced in a contract testing service environment of bio-manufacturing environment.
  • Relevant industry experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment is required.
  • Experience within a regulated environment and ability to interact effectively with quality assurance / quality control professionals
  • Strong negotiating skills required. As “voice of the expert”, provide effective communication and working relationships with customers.
  • Self-motivated with unrivalled drive and energy, with a readiness to take on tough challenges and see them through to conclusion.
  • Results oriented: able to gather business critical information on which to base judgement and decide priorities.
  • Has good business acumen: able to combine negotiating skills with significant scientific depth to identify and secure business opportunities.
  • Demonstrates good communication ability, with the credibility and skills of persuasion that are required to present arguments in a diplomatic, clear, concise, and logical manner, and to influence others positively.
  • Customer centric mindset and possess a continuous improvement attitude.
