Transportation specialist is responsible for handling of Import & Export shipments in a timely manner. Also handling all products by complying with local government law and group regulation.
Your Role:
Compliance / Regulation tasks
- Customs duty & tax refund management
- FTA, Preferential tariffs, Certificate of origin management
- Strategic goods – export license management
- Certificate of product-specific approved exporter (new/renewal management)
- Regular review of HS code
- Returnable fleet management
- AEO and CP management
- Support the internal/external and customs audit
- Other tasks assigned by your manager
Import & Export Management
- Responsible for Import/Export Customs clearance by fulfilling local laws and regulations – High pressure gas, chemical material and toxic material
- Handle the Import/Export Customs clearance by coordinating with Customs broker, freight forwarder & logistics service provider, preparing the related documents and monitoring the status
- Import/Export order handling and shipping planning
- Weekly or monthly cost closing on SAP and documents
- Analyze the outbound & inbound costs
- Analyze the actual data and trend, and suggest insightful way to improve regarding inbound/outbound process and logistics cost
Who You Are:
- In-depth knowledge of Customs law & Regulation, Country of origin, FTA, Strategic goods.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics or related field.
- 8 – 10years experience in logistics.
- Logistics experience in electronics/chemical industry preferred.
- Proficient in computer skills with experience on Microsoft Office.
- Preferred SAP knowledge & experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Korean
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
