Department: EL-FO-PRE Patterning R&D EUV Program
Reporting to: Manager, Patterning R&D EUV Program

Your Role:  

 the Senior R&D Specialist will work with a team of curious scientists providing advanced material solutions to the semiconductor industry. We are at the forefront of technology, working with all the leading semiconductor manufacturers to deliver integrated solutions to the most challenging problems. 

The scope of this position is development of advanced photoresists and related materials for EUV lithography and its extension, customization of each application and intensive customer support. The tasks involve managing and leading projects and being a key contact person for management and peers alike in a global setting. 

This role may involve both domestic and international travel.

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master or PhD degree in Chemistry, Material Science, or other related science and engineering disciplines with 5+ years’ experience in chemical synthesis, material characterization.
• >2 years’ experience in formulation development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to generate new ideas, make a convincing case and drive to implementation.
• Ability to manage projects and influence others without direct authority.
• Being able to work in a matrix environment.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Background in Organometallic Chemistry.
• Skills in handling air/moisture-sensitive reagents are highly desirable.
• Highly motivated to work with a team and succeed, able to learn and adopt new concepts and capable of handling the ambiguity and the inherent uncertainties that come with advanced material research and development.
• Hands-on experience with molecular characterization tools (NMR, FT-IR, GPC, HPLC, GC etc).
• Experience in instrument for material characterization (SEM, AFM, XPS, XRR, DSC, TGA, TEM etc) is a plus.
• Experience in material design for advanced photoresists.
• Familiar with cleanroom environment and equipment, such as clean track, dry etch, CD SEM, defect inspection.
• Experience in material development utilizing digital tools is desired.

・新しいアイデアを生み出し、説得力のあるケースを作成し、実装へと推進する能力。
・直接的な権限なしにプロジェクトを管理し、他者に影響を与える能力。
・マトリックス環境で働く能力。
 

歓迎要件：
・有機金属化学のバックグラウンド。
・空気・湿気に敏感な試薬の取り扱いスキルが非常に望ましい。
・チームで協力し、成功するための高いモチベーションを持ち、新しい概念を学び、採用する能力、および先進的な材料研究および開発に伴う曖昧さと固有の不確実性を扱う能力。
・分子特性評価ツール（NMR、FT-IR、GPC、HPLC、GC等）の経験。
・材料特性評価のための機器（SEM、AFM、XPS、XRR、DSC、TGA、TEM等）の経験がプラス。
・先進フォトレジストのための材料設計の経験。
・クリーンルーム環境および装置（クリーントラック、ドライエッチ、CD SEM、欠陥検査装置等）に精通している。
・デジタルツールを利用した材料開発の経験が望ましい。
