Head of Delivery, APAC Electronics IT&OT

Your Role:

As the Regional Head of Delivery for the Electronics Information & Operational Technology (IT/OT) organization, you will lead a team of OT Engineers and Project Delivery Managers responsible for the secure implementation and management of IT/OT infrastructure across multiple Electronics sites in the APAC region. Your role will ensure OT systems are deployed effectively, integrated with corporate IT, and aligned with global standards and best practices.

You will guide local teams in migrating legacy systems to modern Digital Plant Infrastructure and integrating OT systems with corporate IT, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability. Additionally, your team will manage the entire OT system lifecycle, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity, regulatory, and operational standards to maintain secure and efficient operations.

Serving as a vital link between regional sites and global IT/OT strategies, you will gather site-specific requirements to help refine global standards while ensuring they meet local needs. You will also facilitate training for site staff, promoting best practices in OT system management, service delivery, and compliance.

Your leadership will be key to enhancing the resilience, security, and operational efficiency of IT/OT infrastructure across APAC, ultimately contributing to the success of the organization in the region.

Key Capability and Competencies Required:

Strategic Vision and Execution:

• Ability to develop and deliver long-term IT/OT roadmaps in alignment with local stakeholders.  

Stakeholder Management:

• Extensive experience managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders in local and global, including senior leadership, engineering teams, and site management.
• Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively with stakeholders to drive IT/OT initiatives and achieve strategic objectives.
• Demonstrated success in leading change management initiatives.

Cultural and Regional Awareness:

• Strong cultural awareness and experience managing teams across countries in APAC.
• Ability to tailor global strategies to meet local requirements and navigate the complexities of regional regulations and cultural differences.

Technical Skills:

• Advanced knowledge in OT infrastructure design, software engineering and IT security.
• Comprehensive understanding of IT/OT infrastructure components and architectures, including network security, data management, and system integration.
• Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks relevant to IT/OT, such as ISA-95 and ITIL.

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in APAC related to industrial IT/OT systems, particularly in Electronics manufacturing or similar industries
• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards (e.g. NIST) to ensure compliance with global and local standards and regulations.

Project Management:

• Proven experience in managing complex projects, including OT system installations, migrations, and lifecycle management

Who You Are:

• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in IT/OT environments, with a focus on project delivery and operational management.
• You have over 5 years of demonstrated experience in leading teams of OT engineers and project managers in a global organization.
• You have extensive experience in migrating legacy systems to modern Digital Plant Infrastructure and integrating OT systems with corporate IT.
• You have successfully led teams delivering global IT/OT projects aligned with business objectives.
• You are committed to mentoring your team and possess a strong understanding of IT/OT systems.
• You excel in managing cross-functional teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
• You promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within your team.
• Your strong communication skills enable you to engage effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• You are adept at driving service excellence and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ITIL
