Your Role

• Oversee and optimize production processes at the Sihwa site to meet market demand efficiently and safely.
• Ensure compliance with EHS regulations, ISO standards (9001/14000/18001), and corporate policies.
• Manage production schedules to achieve delivery time while controlling costs and maintaining quality standards.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using tools like Lean Six Sigma (LSS) to enhance productivity and process efficiency.
• Investigate and resolve production issues, including root cause analysis and preventive measures.
• Develop and implement CAPEX projects for process improvements and capacity expansion.
• Monitor inventory levels, warehouse activities, and label programs to ensure efficient operations.
• Support customer audits by preparing pre-checklists, revising control plans (CP), and work instructions (WI).
• Collaborate with functional teams (e.g., EH&S, QA) to sustain process safety and address customer requests.
• Manage spare parts inventory and consumables for production equipment maintenance.
• Coordinate waste management activities, including vendor agreements and compliance with regulations.
• Benchmark best practices from other production units to improve operational performance.
• Promote manufacturing excellence through innovation, continuous improvement, and process optimization projects.
• Ensure safe execution of shutdowns (turnarounds) in collaboration with Maintenance teams.
• Lead team development by defining objectives, coaching staff, evaluating performance, and fostering knowledge exchange.

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, with experience in chemical processes and raw material characteristics preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a responsible position within a plant environment (preferably chemical or manufacturing).
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, engineering standards, and global safety programs (e.g., BSP).
• Proven ability to manage production processes effectively while meeting cost, quality, and time targets.
• Skilled in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and process optimization techniques.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and departments effectively.
• Experience managing budgets, resources, inventory control systems, and procurement processes successfully.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in motivating, coaching, and developing team members while fostering knowledge exchange.
• Proficient in troubleshooting production issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing preventive measures.
• Commitment to promoting innovation, safety culture, and compliance with corporate standards and customer requirements.
