Your Role
Account Manager role involves working in a fast-paced, rewarding team environment to develop sales of Science & Lab Solutions portfolio to achieve quarterly and annual targets. You will be responsible to execute yearly plan to optimize sales and new products in growth segments. You can look forward to drive sales through key account management, digitalization and account based marketing. You will have to build deeper customer relationships with better understanding on their application needs, perform proactive outbound activities to advance customer’s research and development. This role requires extensive travel to assigned accounts within Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets for assigned accounts
- Develop and execute assigned account plans, aligned to sales strategy
- Effective internal and external stakeholder management to develop customer relationship and build sustainable long-term business
- Leverage on SalesForce Dot Com (SFDC) as the primary reporting tool and maintain good data hygiene for assigned accounts and sales pipelines
- Establish visit plans for assigned accounts to build and maintain relationship with customers
- Prepare and submit sales forecast and other related reports for assigned accounts
- Maintain a level of technical and application competency to perform product demonstration and service assigned accounts
- Plan and execute Key Opinion Leader (KOL) management plan to grow and influence scientific community
- Provide Voice of Customers (VoC) for effective strategy implementation
Who you are
- Bachelor/Diploma in Biology, Chemistry or Material Science discipline
- 1-3 years of sales experience in life science industry, with proven record to perform in sales function
- Problem solver with go-getter attitude
- Resilient with ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
- Self-starter who is highly motivated and driven
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and SFDC management
