A great opportunity has opened up within the Process Solutions Business Health & Performance Insights Organization. The Territory Data Analyst/Business Analyst will report to the Head of Incentive Compensation and will be responsible to:

  • Manage sales territory and data alignments in relation to Reporting Tools and Data Warehouses.
  • Actively and consistently simplify and enhance the customer experience regarding sales territories assignments.
  • Accelerate business growth through territory optimization, ensuring an independent review of territory assignments.

 

Your Role:

  • Successfully manage and administrate the Territory Strategy and Territory Planning in alignment with Process Solutions Go-To-Market Design.  
  • Responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of sales territories, sales hierarchies and assigned products for sales representatives and sales specialists.
  • Drive, administer and maintain territory changes annually or resulting from organization shift, as well as changes or territory maintenance activities throughout the year (i.e. customer, end customer and product allocation) in a timely manner and within set timelines to ensure territory and sales incentive payout quality. Proactively contribute to data quality efforts with PS organization.
  • Deploy and maintain of sales performance analysis tools in different platforms such as Tableau (visual analysis platform), SAP Business Intelligence and Palantir Uptimize Big Data, using predictive analysis methods to support the development of a management strategy focused on figures.
  • Ensure new territory designs are properly balanced and maximize sales productivity in alignment with strategies developed by the leadership team.
  • Interface with IT and sales reporting/analytics team to ensure transactional sales data is complete/accurate prior to quarterly sales incentive processing, including new ship-to review.
  • Research, study and analyze system or process related incidents reported, suggest and communicate resolution to key stakeholders.
  • Ensure data integrity is upheld from a sales territory perspective.
  • Seek out and implement ways to automate & improve processes.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation around territory management. 

 

Who You Are:

  • At least 5+ years of Territory Management or Business Data Analyst experience preferably in an environment that utilizes data lakes.
  • At least 3+ years of sales operations, sales tools, process optimization, sales training (or any subset of these).
  • Ability to implement, develop and design the strategies defined by the leadership team.
  • Strong business intuition: able to connect with stakeholders to gain full understanding of the problem they’re looking to solve.
  • Advanced proficiency in database (relational and file-based database), coding skills, and Analytic tools (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong attention to detail: ability to prescribe, correct & pro-actively seek to ensure that data is correctly assigning to sales territories.
  • High level of process improvement mindset.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Rigorous analytics, sense of confidentiality, well-structured and disciplined.
  • Able to deliver great quality outcome and meet strict business deadlines.
  • Ability to train/coach.
  • Fluent English/ Chinese skills
