Your Role:

As a Distributor Account Manager, you will be tasked with achieving sales targets within a designated territory by effectively executing business and sales strategies, managing accounts, and overseeing territory operations, which may involve up to 50% travel. In this position, you will develop and implement campaigns, promotions, and customer training initiatives to enhance existing relationships while also cultivating and expanding new business opportunities. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing pricing strategies, contracts, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.

 

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a Business Discipline, or an Associate's degree combined with Clinical Laboratory Certification.
  • Over 5 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or a Customer-Facing role.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Healthcare Diagnostics or in working with IVD-regulated diagnostic products.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in developing and delivering technical presentations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in immunohistochemistry or familiarity with the clinical pathology market.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
  • Ability to create and deliver technical presentations and training to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in managing distributors.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships at all levels within accounts to facilitate the sales process.
  • Experience collaborating with a global team in a remote setting.
  • Relevant business acumen in the global pathology market.
  • Background in IVD or regulated diagnostic products.
  • Capacity to work independently to drive growth while fostering teamwork in a matrixed organization to achieve results.
  • Sales competencies including the preparation and implementation of tactical business plans, selling skills, relationship building, call planning, territory development, follow-up, and closing techniques.
  • Proficient with various sales tools and technologies, including Microsoft Office, Salesforce or other CRMs, and sales analysis software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical competency in product knowledge, application, and positioning within the clinical diagnostics market.
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills in managing distribution, product, sales, and customer issues.
