Your Role:

  • You will be a dynamic leader, experienced in supply chain and distribution. A result driven change leader, you will be excited to lead our organization from good to great. This is a wide-reaching role in a complex area of Distribution, with over a billion euros of impacted revenue, and we are looking for someone with the background, talent, and future potential to have an exceptional impact from day one. 
  • Lead and manage all distribution activities in Asia Pacific (current locations include India, China, Japan, S. Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Australia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia & Philippines) with a focus on maximizing the customer’s experience.
  • Responsible for EHS in the distribution network where creation of an interdependent safety culture is paramount with a strict adherence to policies and procedures (Legal, Local and Corporate requirements)
  • Quality and compliance - this role will ensure that a culture of zero risk exists where all colleagues follow the relevant procedures and policies daily and the sites are always ready for customer and regulatory audits.
  • Customer Service: Working in partnership with the Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Trade Compliance/Regulatory teams to maximize On Time in Full (OTIF) and Shipped on Time (SOT) metrics to the final customer.
  • Cost: Ensure that the drive for efficiency is seen in the context of our other guiding principles – Safety / Quality / Regulatory Compliance / Service. This role will need to constantly challenge cost to ensure that the distribution centers are operating efficiently with a focused set of Key Performance Indicators.
  • Strategy: Continue to evolve the distribution strategy and network design to maximize speed and service to the customers while balancing running costs and inventory
  • Capital Investment: Ensure ongoing and appropriate investment in infrastructure and equipment to meet safety, quality, and capacity requirements.
  • Fosters cooperation, learning and best practice deployment across sites while keeping abreast of regulatory requirements that may impact planning and execution of distribution, quality, and compliance activities.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree – preferred in business and/or supply chain.
  • 10+ years’ professional experience within Distribution and Supply Chain (ideally in Life Science, Pharma or FMCG industries).
  • Strong project management experience is ideal (i.e., managing complex integrated projects and meeting tight deadlines).
  • Experience with dangerous goods and regulated products would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively across a matrix organization.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing and networking skills.
  • Ability to operate in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong leadership attributes.
  • Proven ability to develop and lead a large team.
  • Regional and international experience
  • Fluent in English
