The Head of Process Solutions, Singapore & Southeast Asia takes the full leadership responsibilities on the overall direction of the PS Business in Singapore and Southeast Asia, ensure the alignment of business goals and objectives towards the dynamic growth in the market. The role is responsible and accountable for the short-term and medium-term business development and ensure the achievement of business objectives which include sales target, seeding activities and strategic initiatives, while adhering to company code of conduct. This role is to be based in Singapore.
Your Role:
- Responsible and accountable for the short-term and medium-term development of the business and ensuring the achievement of Business Unit objectives, including sales, market share, and trade margin, while adhering to the company code of conduct and budget.
- Responsible for the continual expansion of business opportunities (territories, customers, and product sales) in the local and international markets; accountable for the sales cycle.
- Based on Global and APAC strategy, develop the regional GTM strategy and execution plan for Singapore and Southeast Asia.
- Take ownership in initiating region-specific actions to drive business achievement.
- Establish and build key strategic partnerships in the country/cluster, including with customers, opinion leaders, and industry associations; collaborate with Life Science leaders to leverage these partnerships for business and brand growth.
- Get up to speed with Biotech/Biopharma industry new investments in the region.
- Work with the regional supporting team to align each task/action.
- Manage, develop, and retain talents. Constantly improve team performance via coaching, motivating, and demonstrating as a model to team members. Regularly discuss development goals with employees and create opportunities for them to develop their skill sets.
- Provide leadership, direction, market feedback, recommendations, support, and development to field sales and supporting function employees and management as appropriate.
- Foster and promote high levels of collaboration and motivation among cross-functional teams.
Who You Are:
- At least a Master or Bachelor in Biotechnology, Biochemicals Engineering, Chemical Engineering is preferred
- At least 10 years of experience in commercial with people management accountability
- Analytical and good sense of commercial aspect
- Good communication and Influencing Skill
- Positive attitude to decision making and risk taking
- Excellent Leadership and People skills
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
- Confident, energetic, high accountability and strong teamwork
