Medical advisor (Oncology & Neurology)

 

As a Medical Advisor you will interact frequently with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and other Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) in Oncology Therapeutic Area. This role ensures that medical activities are aligned with the business strategy. You will make sure that the scientific information and claims related to marketed products are accurate, fair-balanced and in compliance with corporate standards, government/industry regulations and legal requirements. You will provide medical expertise to ensure the proper scientific and clinical accuracy of materials and activities used for positioning and promotion of existing products. You will establish and maintain the scientific image and our reputation and be a key binding function between science and business in the local market. Your responsibilities will include creating the Medical Strategy, driving the Local Medical Plan and assist in site selection for clinical projects. You will also contribute to strategic decisions regarding Company products where appropriate and act as the local medical product(s) lead, responsible for providing medical and scientific expertise and support to Commercial. You will execute tactics to fulfill Medical Affairs strategies in the field and to positively impact healthcare provider (HCP) perceptions and knowledge. You will facilitate and develop the relationship with the medical/scientific communities including physicians and medical centers by communicating product-related information to investigators and institutions. You will also provide information on research developments, and new concepts in medical treatment, giving perspective to field activities associated with growing existing products, and bringing new products to market.

 

Who you are:

 

  • Educated to a university degree in a scientific field (Medical Doctor is an advantage)
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry (experience in medical affairs is a strong advantage)
  • Experience in Oncology therapy area will be considered as a serious advantage
  • Knowledge of regulatory, commercial, and clinical issues affecting industry is preferred
  • Proficient English and Bulgarian language are a must
  • Valid driving license and ability to travel within Bulgaria.
